PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
o To work in conjunction with the
VPs of Premedia Sales to grow the
Premedia Business and to manage all
administrative functions (forecasts,
pipelines, proposals, expenses,
budgets, etc.) thoroughly, accurately
and on time.
o Assist and coach Sales Executives
with the execution of account
strategies and the preparation of
proposals and presentations, while
creating sustainable, long-term
relationships with clients.
o Act as a role model for Sales
Executives by establishing priorities,
providing support, and having an
effective interpersonal management
style that is customer focused.
o Assist Regional VPs to meet and
exceed sales targets, while keeping
within budget.
o Build exceptional relationships
with both internal (corporate) and
external clients and especially with key
decision makers.
o Have a positive attitude and the
self-motivation to create a “Sales
Professionals” team culture which
places high value on RESULTS,
continuous growth and individual
improvement.
o Utilize current contacts to
leverage marketing opportunities,
while developing new relationships
that result in “win-win” propositions,
such as streamlining client’s
workflows while reducing costs and
cycle time.
o Promote and sell
premedia/prepress/packaging
solutions as well as the entire
integrated product line (direct mail,
retail inserts, etc).
o Assist in attracting, hiring,
developing and retaining top
performing sales associates.
o Continuously upgrade the selling
skills and product/service knowledge
of Sales Executives.
o Aggressively integrate corporate
resources to assist in the sales,
delivery and support of clients both
new and existing.
ESSENTIAL BACKGROUND
REQUIREMENTS
o Bachelor’s Degree in
Business/Marketing preferred.
o 10+ years selling experience in:
premedia, prepress, direct marketing,
direct mail, packaging, flexographic
printing, large format, etc.
o 5+ years in sales management.
o Technically competent to sell
Premedia products and services to
agencies, converters, in-house
marketing departments and other
corporate clients.
o Good presenter to groups – able
to be an effective meeting leader.
o Able to effectively manage sales
teams and sales professionals
individually within the team.
o Comfortable using Microsoft
Office applications including Excel
spreadsheets, PowerPoint
presentations, Word documents and
letters and Corporate E-mail
applications.
o Familiar with P&L - includes
analyzing the business and executing
sales / marketing and expense plans
to achieve profit and loss objectives
o Ability to communicate and work
with VP and C-level executives both
from the client perspective as well as
internally within client.
o Project management and
organizational skills, attention to
detail, and able to drive sales results.
o Able to work in a fast paced
environment and handle multiple
proposals and projects.
o Need to be an effective
communicator (excellent verbal and
written skills).
o Position can be VIRTUAL – can be
located in ANY MAJOR US MARKET.
